“Key players throughout the year include Selina Parmar (Club Captain), Jack Ashfield (Club Secretary) who was very much a key driving force in the Men’s squad, Dimo Anguelov (Coach), Chris Anguelov (Mens Captain) who finished four years undefeated, and Asher Gilani (Vice-Captain).”

The Mens 2nd Tennis Team won BUCS 2B and made the Final of the Cup captained by Asher Gilani. Asher said: “We’ve improved incredible amounts over the season beating Imperial, who had smashed us a few months earlier in the corresponding home fixture, on the last day. Individually, the boys won against the exact same opponents who had previously destroyed them too. This was the most satisfying part of the season for the whole Mens Squad due to their sustained hard work and training, rather than just being the best team from the start. We made the final of the cup too, although lost to University of East London, who were just too good for our seconds. Their whole team were on sports scholarships and had 3 world-ranked players!”
